Kaede is one of the most popular okonomiyaki restaurants in Hiroshima, where you can wait up to 2.5 hours for a table. The sound of cabbage being cut, which echoes throughout the morning, is a local specialty. The fact that nearly 60 to 100 balls of cabbage are used per day is indicative of the restaurant's extraordinary popularity.

We were impressed by the master of the restaurant, who did his best to grill each okonomiyaki one by one, no matter how many orders came in.
