船から日本古来のルアー・エギを巧みに操り、イカを狙うティップエギングは、今や全国的な広がりを見せている。イカの中でも人気なのが、イカの王様とも称されるアオリイカ。大型アオリイカが狙える春に長崎県を訪れたのは、エギングの名手・富所潤さん。釣り場は九州本土と五島列島の間にある全国屈指の豊かな海域・五島灘。富所さんは長年の経験から得たシンプルでありながら奥深いティップエギングのテクニックを駆使して大型を追い求める。
