56 Ford Pickup build update 1
I was very excited to get this one started.
I began by taping the body together to help me come up with a color scheme. I kind of had an idea, but when I saw it together I knew what I was doing. I painted a dozen or so spoons with Vallejo light gray primer. Then I painted one spoon Tamiya’s Gunmetal, the other I painted Tamiya’s Titanium Silver. When that was dry I painted the sliver with Tamiya’s Clear Red. I will be painting the fenders and running boards with the Gunmetal and the rest the silver with red.
Next I detailed the hood ornaments, and the valve covers. I did start gluing the engine, but I can’t figure out what color I’m going to paint it so I called it quits.
