舞台は山梨県西湖。富士箱根伊豆国立公園の中に位置する富士五湖の1つで最大水深は71.7mと深さがあるのが特徴。絶滅したとされたクニマスが70年ぶりに再発見された湖としても知られる。この釣りを紹介してくれるのは年間釣行回数250回以上のスペシャリスト尾崎渚さん。禁漁期迫る冬の西湖。ひっそりとした静かな環境で、自然に溶け込みながらボートを操りワカサギ釣りを堪能。美味しい郷土料理も紹介！
