传奇投资者沃伦·巴菲特发出警告，一场2.2万亿美元的风暴即将袭击银行业，可怕的后果将会持续多年，损失比08年的金融风暴更严重，更多银行将会倒闭，造成一个恶性循环，影响全球的金融市场。08年金融风暴的问题出现在住宅房产市场，当时把次级贷款打包成房地产抵押债券MBS卖出去，同时支撑MBS价格的底层信用“按时还款”出现巨大问题，所产生的一连串奔溃效应。而这次的问题出在商业物业MBS。今年初，纽约社区银行(New York Community Bancorp)股价暴跌73%，受到波及的日本青空银行(Aozora Bank)股价暴跌38%，直到现在都还在低点附近徘徊。商业地产MBS危机如果再次爆发，会造成第二场金融风暴。
