Hot pads are a staple of sewing- often one of the first things you sew as a beginner! Often that experience can result in a wonky homemade mess. But those days are now over! Following these 6 steps, you can sew a really nice and professional looking pot holder even if you are new (wish) to sewing!

To sew this project, you must be able to sew through some thick layers, and have enough experience to sew close to the edge of the binding.

Materials/ Supplies needed are...
(2) 9'' x 9'' pieces of 100% cotton fabric
(2) 9'' x 9'' piece of cotton batting
(1) 9'' x 9'' piece of Heat reflective fleece
24'' of 2.5'' bias cut binding (made from 100% cotton fabric)
Sewing machine, coordinating thread, scissors
Iron & ironing board
