「泉大津だんじり祭」は毎年10月に大阪府泉大津市にて開催される五穀豊穣・子孫繁栄を祈願した秋祭りです。
泉大津だんじり祭の特徴。
だんじり同士がぶつかり合う「かちあい」が祭りの見どころです。
「かちあい」とは
泉大津だんじり祭では、だんじりを後ろから走らせ、前に静止しているだんじりに追突させる「かちあい」が行われます。かちあいは、南海本線泉大津駅から海側の「濱八町」(はまはっちょう)と呼ばれる地域のみで見られます。
西之町／下之町／上市／上之町／元町／宮本町／田中町／出屋敷町（大津神社）の八町で行われており、だんじり同士がぶつかり合う「カチアイ」は有名で、祭りの日には、その「かちあい」の迫力見たさに、多くの人が泉大津を訪れます。
その歴史は古く、今もなお伝統を受け継ぎ、日本の心を紡ぐ豪快な祭りである。

Izumiotsu Danjiri Festival 2024
The Izumiotsu Danjiri Matsuri is an annual autumn festival held in October in Izumiotsu City, Osaka, Japan, to pray for a good harvest and prosperity of descendants.
Features of the Izumiotsu Danjiri Festival.
The highlight of the festival is the “Kachiai,” or smash, in which Danjiri smash with each other.
What is “Kachiai”?
In the Izumiotsu Danjiri Festival, Danjiri are driven from behind and collide with stationary Danjiri in front of them. Kachiai can be seen only in an area called “Hamahacho” on the sea side from Izumiotsu Station on the Nankai Main Line.
With its long history, this festival still carries on the traditions and weaves the heart of Japan.
