Col S Dinny (Retd), resident of Kollam, Kerala served as an Indian Army Infantry (RAJPUT Regiment) officer for more than 20 years.
Firsthand combat operational experiences after having served in multiple tenures in Kashmir valley, North East India and along the Line of Actual Control in Ladakh. In Kashmir, served both along the Line of Control and in Rashtriya Rifles over three tenures.
Served as a Indian Military Observer with United Nations in Congo. Commanded an Infantry Battalion at Ladakh (Pangong Tso) for two years.
