Here, I will share how I care for it on a weekly basis which prevents it from turning brown, drying out or rotting.
Air plants like Spanish moss is one of the easiest plants to grow. I am a plant noob and only late 2022, I decided to have some plants in my bedroom, study and bathroom. If I can do it, you can too. Spanish moss is very hard to kill, but there are some precautions you will need to follow to ensure a healthy thriving bushy plant.
I live in a humid, tropical country so I only water them once a week and fertilize once a month. I do not mist them. They do not need to be wet all the time, contrary to popular belief. If you live in a low humidity climate, then you may need to soak weekly and mist them every 2 days. During colder months, you will not need to soak weekly, but perhaps bi weekly.
