Hiking to the top of the 2nd-highest mountain in the lower 48 United States, following a lesser-known and more challenging route to avoid crowds. It was awesome...but they ran out of lemonade by the time I made it to the summit!
*NOTE: there is some discrepancy as to the height of Mt. Elbert -- Google says 14,439 ft, but the USGS survey says 14,400.
