Here’s the recipe by Klopotenko for these incredible waffles:
Ingredients:
• 2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 2 tbsp sugar
• A pinch of salt
• 2 large eggs (room temperature)
• 1 ¾ cups (400 ml) warm milk
• 4 tbsp (60 g) melted butter
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
2. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, then add the warm milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
3. Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, whisking until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
4. Preheat your waffle maker and lightly grease it with oil or cooking spray.
5. Pour the batter onto the waffle maker and cook according to the manufacturer’s instructions (usually about 3-4 minutes).
6. Serve the waffles warm with your favorite toppings: cream cheese, Nutella, fresh apples, dried strawberries, almonds — or anything you love!
