最近我有機會訪問了布萊恩和顏約坦，他們是在台東都蘭土生土長的美國人。他們的父母在35年前來到台灣，愛上這裡的生活，然後在台灣養育了三個小孩。小時候，兄弟的朋友都是原住民，弟弟以為自己也是原住民。兩人後來都到美國上大學，但發現那裡的生活費用過高，再加上他們一直念念不忘台灣的便利、健保、美食和人情味，因此決定搬回來台灣。

I had the chance to talk to Bryan and Jotham, brothers who grew up in Taitung. Their first parents came to Taiwan 35 years ago, fell in love with the country, and raised 3 boys here. Growing up, all their friends were indigenous, and Jotham even thought he was indigenous at one point. They both went to college in the US, but missed the convenience, healthcare, food, and friendliness of Taiwan and moved back home.
