6 years ago, I moved to Germany.
Vietnam was the only world I knew, and suddenly, I found myself in a completely different country. I had heard about culture shocks—the little surprises and oddities that can catch you off guard when you're far from home. I thought to myself, How hard could it really be?
But as time went on, I discovered just how different life in Germany was from Vietnam. Some things amazed me, while others took me by surprise in ways I didn’t expect. In this video, I’ll share the culture shocks I experienced as a newcomer to Germany. If you’ve been here, maybe you’ll relate to some of them.
And if you’ve never been to Germany, I hope this video gives you a glimpse of what life is like here.
