7 Months at the Thrift Store is long enough

Video Not Working? Fix It Now

The Kroehler dresser was in the thrift store for over 7 months. If you check out my 2nd thrift store video you will see this piece in that video. They were about to get rid of the piece from the thrift store, so I ended up purchasing it when it was half off. There were a lot of 'future-proofing' decisions made with this piece. It lasted for over 50 years, and I would like to see it last for another 50. The drawers were reveneered to add some interest, which also allowed me to add more consistent and easy-to-update hardware. Legs were added since furniture bases aren't very popular and are often damaged from moisture over time. Hope you enjoy this furniture makeover! 🎁Channels Amazon Wishlist: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1MESZEIFCT13A?ref_=wl_share 🧸Etsy Shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/ReconstructingEmily ⭐Instagram @reconstructingemily 💫Products Used💫 Contact Cement - https://amzn.to/3gBwvGd Plastic Wood Wood filler - https://amzn.to/3VMivbJ J Roller - https://amzn.to/3EELh6T Rubber Mallet - https://amzn.to/3u5tMrM Veneer - Tineo Wood Veneer ordered off Ebay Mirka Sander - https://amzn.to/3APGG0F Sandpaper - https://amzn.to/3gGXpws Mirka Finishing Sander (Deos) - https://amzn.to/3U6mJJL Finishing Sander Sand Paper - https://amzn.to/3OLwn3C Festool Dust Collection - https://amzn.to/3VkSBvk Shop Vacuum - https://amzn.to/3V6vdSu Shop Brush - https://amzn.to/3AP6U3v Hexagon Pulls - https://amzn.to/3VboUNC 5 Inch Drawer Pull #1 - https://amzn.to/3gBv8aq (Good for Mid Century modern style pieces) 5 Inch Drawer Pull #2 - https://amzn.to/3UcEOpD Furniture Legs - https://amzn.to/3gBvrlH Kreg Jig - https://amzn.to/3Bb8kFN Pocket Hole Screw Pack - https://amzn.to/3OIoUlF Milwaukee Drill -https://amzn.to/3V9LwOv General Finishes Brown Mahogany Gel Stain -https://amzn.to/3u3inZp Deft Satin Lacquer - https://amzn.to/3gxlG8c (Cheaper at Ace Hardware) Mohawk Medium Brown Walnut Toner – Can be purchased from Mohawk.com or a Mohawk retailer Wet Sandpaper for final Finish Sanding - https://amzn.to/3ihac8Z (You can also use a paper bag.)
