Nobody expects an emergency, but when it happens, having a plan can make all the difference. We've been meaning to pack our 72-hour backpack for a while, but we never finished it. Recent government recommendations regarding the European survival kit have given us the final push to complete it, although it's not something we do out of fear or obligation.
In fact, we don't have a television at home, we don't follow the news, and we don't like living surrounded by negative information. We made this backpack because we find it useful, nothing more. We see it as something practical, just like carrying a first-aid kit in the mountains or checking your gear before a hike. And, thanks to great YouTube creators who have shared their experiences, it has motivated us even more to make it.
