石碇老街是一個古樸和保有歷史特色的街道，來這可以漫步於特殊的吊腳樓建築以及不見天街還有探索百年石頭屋和品嚐手工豆腐製品，也可將車停放在淡蘭吊橋，一路步行淡蘭古道至石碇老街全程大約二公里，古道平坦好走很適合健行。
淡蘭吊橋是一條很幽美的吊橋，就在大路旁很顯眼也很漂亮。有路過的遊客都會下車過來拍個照。
菁桐老街是來平溪會順遊的景點之一，老街雖不大但裡面可放天燈、掛祈願筒，還能看到全台最長的降煤櫃和80年歷史的木造車站，菁桐老街是一條很不錯的老街，一日遊石碇到菁桐剛剛好，整路不無聊哦～

Jingtong Old Street is one of the scenic spots that you should visit when visiting Pingxi. Although the old street is not big, you can place sky lanterns and hang prayer tubes.
