You can join the likes of Gene Autry and Neil Young, whom also have adorned the most ornate instrument made by the Martin Guitar Company. This particular example hosts plenty of volume, and a very rich and full sound with a strong bass response. it has had 20 years of real life playing, bye an actual musician, and doesn’t pretend to be a closet queen, even though it has the shine and shimmer. there is evidence she has been exposed to humidity changes throughout her 20 years, and this shows and some finish bubbling on the headstock, and around the binding. it also has its share of dings, bruises and scrapes, all of which are noticeable in the photographs. these include capo marks on the back of the neck, and possible evidence that a couple of sections of binding may have been re-glued on the top. additionally, the frets are original, and show evidence of wear, especially on the treble B and E strings. This is most prevalent in the first five frets, and we estimate there is still plenty of life left in them.
