Soap is probably the most used item in my household. My husband is a diesel mechanic and I love to garden and work in the yard so we go through a lot of it. It's nice to have a little control of the ingredients for something we use so often. This video explains the basics of cold process soap making as well as well as sharing a few items that make the job easier. Please consider buying the book that I used to make this video, I am in no way affiliated with the author of the book nor are any of the following links affiliate links. These are tried and true products that make soap making easier!

Sodium Lactate - https://a.co/d/1qre5VH (Amazon no longer carries the brand I used in the video)

*** It's very important to follow soap recipes exactly. Please do not swap any of the oils in soap recipes without running it through a lye calculator first to see if the amount of lye needs to be changed. Doing so can cause serious skin sensitivity due to soap not processing properly ***
