Today's California Zephyr #5 arrived in Fort Morgan sat 0601 MST (20 min. late yet 20+ min. early into Denver). Power was provided by P42s #168 & #81 to the 8-car train which was brought to the first of two stops with car 3 (sleeper) to the station platform for 2 passengers stepping to the platform (Unsure of where the step was). Then the train was moved several cars forward to bring car 7 (coach) to the station platform for 5 detraining passengers followed by 5 new fares boarding that car. Meanwhile another passenger stepped from the train at car 4 (sleeper) off camera.
Finally, the station work was safely completed, and the high ball was given. With a clear signal sat west Ft. Morgan CP, the Zephyr continued its westward trek with the next stop being Union Station in Denver.
