Finally, a break in the rainy weather! On this winter afternoon of December 30, 2024, I was going to take advantage of the partly cloudy skies and warmer temperatures to unveil my 1931 Ford Model A Pickup and take her for a drive, despite the occasional sprinkles of rain. When Skye, our Norwegian Elkhound heard me start the Model A’s engine, she came running out of the house anxious to ride with Diane and I in the back of the truck. The engine ran great during our short loop around the Dungeness Valley neighborhood. I forgot how much I enjoyed driving my Model A!
