The left half is exactly 21 inches wide which fits the door frame perfectly. 5-1/2 inches were trimmed off the bottom and hemmed up with staples. Self-stick Velcro strips were attached across the top and left side of the door frame. Self-stick 2-3 inch horizontal ceramic magnets were self-glued to the right side of the door frame to adhere to magnets in the mesh screen door section.
