Video Not Working? Fix It Now

NB see this video about what I have taken for Bess for many trips. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4h2KcWeAh8&feature=youtube_gdata_player There are a few comments worrying about Bess being cold. You will see from the above video that she has plenty of options and we took them ALL for all early deep into winter trips! However I discovered that Bess wasn't needing them. She kept warm with her thick coat and plenty of food. I monitored Bess carefully and she was never cold or uncomfortable! I found the foam mat was the single most important piece of kit for her when cold as it separated her from the ground. The foam mat is not in the above video as I discovered it later. This is an early look at what I was trying and taking. Also note she wore a water resistant coat by day to help keep her dry. Thanks for watching. http://flyingdogphotography.blogspot.co.uk/2013/03/a-freezing-wild-camp-on-dartmoor-with.html my write up and KIT LIST :-) A year ago I set off down this same track for my first ever wild camp http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Be2ANYeeYtQ today was my 10th wild camp and the first down this same track since last August, I must admit it brought back a few memories. The weather was VERY cold and harsh, my toughest so far, but thankfully too cold to rain! It is quite long so put the kettle on, sit back and enjoy. I'll add a blog post and kit list to my blog sometime soon, please chack back later in the week or early next week, cheers :-)
