So it's getting to the end of the 2022 river fishing season and I have a few spare hours at my disposal to have a dangle for for perch or Chub. So i made my way up to the upper reaches of the River Loddon in Berkshire in search of some perch or chub. The river was still suffering from a bit of extra water and the river temperature were low with bright skies and windy conditions. It was to be a mobile and roving day, finding areas of slack waters and featured fish holding areas. In this video i go through my basic kit i use to make my style of fishing comfortable and easy when roving around. I review my recent trip to the Thames with photos of a 6lb 4oz chub, my new personal best Thames chub to date and pictures of other chub caught on the day.
The days fishing was a short session but was fun and productive with two chub caught on camera and a lost brown trout which made a brief but short appearance on camera. Watch me make a right mess of that!
Hope you enjoy this video and many thanks for watching it.
Regards
Dave
