Olympus have really hit the mark with the E-M1 Mark III. I'd expected another 'ho-hum, here we go again' reheat of the last model like the E-M5 Mark III, E-M10 Mark III or Panasonic's G90 or GX9. Good cameras but nothing 'must have about them' if you already have the previous model.
The E-M1 Mark III is different, though. It retains everything good about the older model and adds only better things to the mix. And one item of special sauce is added - a fast, accurate, C-AF system that finally puts a Micro Four Thirds camera in the same focusing league as the Canon, Nikon and Sony. In doing so, given its compact dimensions and sheer all round capability, Olympus have come up with what, in my view, might be the best _all round_ camera available. Whatever the system.
