A monk's guide to happiness is shared within this podcast episode. I met with a Buddhist monk who shared a guide to happiness by tapping into the benefits of being other-focused vs being self focused. In this podcast titled "A monks guide to happiness", we explore how focusing on oneself oftentimes can leave us unhappy and unfulfilled. In this podcast, a Buddhist monk and I discuss why focusing on the other or developing an other focused mind opens us up to happiness and a more fulfilled life. Ancient teachings of the Buddha are shared in a simple manner by an experienced and wise monk for a modern audience who may or may not be into spirituality. 00:00 Intro 06:25 Skip Intro 44:28 Guided Meditation About our Guest - Gen Dornying Gen Kelsang Dornying is the Resident Teacher of both Kadampa Meditation Centre Australia and Kadampa Meditation Centre Melbourne.
