If you've visited Colonial Michilimackinac, in Mackinaw City, Michigan, over the past few years, you may have noticed that we've been walking through the American Revolution, year-by-year, at the site. This summer its 1780, which is interesting for a couple of reasons. The move of the fort over to Mackinac Island is in full swing, and additional soldiers from the 84th Regiment, the Royal Highland Emigrants, arrive to Michilimackinac. This unit had a highly distinctive uniform.
