I’ve been learning to listen to my body, to move slower, and to make space for small, meaningful things, and some days are meant for quiet resets.
In this video, I spent time caring for plants, starting my garden from seeds, and helping a friend restore a special heirloom piece. I also brought a little touch of spring to our home with a wreath my husband picked out on our last trip.
These slow, intentional moments help me feel grounded. A gentle reminder to be kind with myself, in every season. Thank you for watching my video and spending this quiet moment with me 🌸💗
Easter Garland:
It is very simple and easy to make, all you need is:
2 cups baking soda
1 cup cornstarch
1 1/2 cup water
Needle and twine
Combine whisking together all the ingredients inside a small pan, then cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the dough starts to thicken. Let it cool, then knead it until the dough is smooth.
Dust a surface with cornstarch, roll it out and cut out any shape you’d like, with about 1/8" thickness :-) For me, I used a cookie cutter to make shapes for the garland, using a toothpick to make tiny holes.
Bake the shapes on the lowest level (mine is 175F) until dry. Then it’s ready to assemble your garland!
With love,
Marcia
