As promised, the curviest letter of all, the "S"! Now, it's made differently than the straight line R and N and M (W) in Rai's Initial Cane. If you're going to create a full alphabet, it's definitely the place to begin. All the other, simpler, letters will be made with the standard this letter sets. If you don't wish to make an alphabet of uniform letter size, then you need not set any standard.
This cane uses just black and white clay. I did soften my black with Conditioning bar but you might not need that at all. Add a blade, pasta machine and a ruler and you're set. The cane will probably be small so one 2 ounce bar of each color should suffice.
Have fun! This tutorial will be moved into the classroom but I will keep it on the free channel site for a bit to let anyone who has requested it, watch it without making them join the classroom to see it!
