Hello and welcome back to my slow living vlog. Join me for a quiet day of slow hobbies. I'm an introverted homebody and I love my slow solitary hobbies. Join me as I bake sourdough bread, make lunch, and do some needlework. This week I have finished the quilt I've been working on since July, and I have also been mending some secondhand wool blankets which I intend to use as the middle layer of future quilts I'd like to make.
For me, the greatest joy of my slow hobbies is getting lost in the process. We all have things that put us into a state of flow where we lose track of time. For me, those things are gardening and craft projects, particularly quilting.

I tend to borrow my books from my local library where possible, and for titles that I can't borrow, I'll buy them secondhand or new from an independent bookshop.

If you're new to my channel, hi! My name is Stéphanie and here on Eighteen and Cloudy I share peaceful, slow paced videos about living a slow and simple life in a big city. My videos take the shape of a weekly slow living vlog, and feature my rented garden in which my husband and I grow food and flowers, the recipes we make and bake, and the craft projects I work on.
I particularly love heritage crafts, and documenting my projects and makes here on my channel together with tutorials and process videos.
