Rules:
Basic rules of any Nuzlocke include permanent character deaths, this means no matter how a character dies they are unusable. You can reset any fight, but any character that died during that fight is gone, you have to go back to team select. You cannot switch characters to anyone you did not obtain mid run, you are locked once you have it. Relics and Lightcones can be swapped around all you like, and you can even use the preset Relics given from Divergent Universe.
To obtain characters you will get 4 “Random” characters and 1 “Random Sustain” character at the start of the run. Before every “Domain: Boss” you will get 1 “Random Character,” And before every “Domain: Conversion” you get 2 more “Random Characters.” This will give you 12 characters or 3 possible teams to work with, giving flexibility to your run. To set up the random characters use 2 different spin wheels, 1 for “All Characters,” and one for “Just Sustain Characters” following the Path of Abundance or Preservation. Trailblazer and March 7th have multiple different Paths to choose and should be separated into different characters.
To give a little bit of control you can gain Re-roll attempts that can be used to Re-roll a character if you don't like it. Any one spin can be Re-rolled to give you a second choice, and can pick any 1 of the 2 you rolled. Re-rolls are obtained by 1 at the start, and then one after every clear of major fights. This does not include “Run Saves” like the Curio “Laurel Crown” that saves a run if you die. Also you can only obtain a Re-roll from “Domain: Conversion” if you clear round 2 and can start getting “Cosmic Fragments” from round 3. Uses the Map of the floors to see when you get Characters and Re-rolls.
