The film – which follows two mismatched Jewish cousins as they take a trip to Poland to trace their family's pre-war roots – has been well-received ever since it debuted at last year's Sundance Film Festival, but according to Culkin, the possibility of awards was the last thing on his mind when he first agreed to take on the role.
We sat down with both stars to talk about the production and how they built chemistry on screen - as well as awards rumours at the time.
