On September 12, 2003, the Korean Peninsula was hit by the Typhoon Maemi(cicada).
As the typhoon moved along the southern region and passed through to the East Sea within 7 hours, it gave massive damage.
Bibong-ri Drain Facility bordering with the Nakdong River, Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do was also flooded by the typhoon.
However, because of this typhoon, we were able to excavate valuable relics from the Neolithic Age.
The valuable relic we've found is the Neolithic ship made 6,000 years ago, excavated in Bibong-ri, Changnyeong-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do.
