Have you heard of the Salton Sea? California's largest lake has an interesting history and the area around it has quite a few unique places to visit.
In this video we check out art installations and explore the Salton Sea area including Salvation Mountain, East Jesus, and Bombay Beach.
I first visited this area a few years ago after seeing a documentary about it. A lot has changed since I first saw it. This may not be everyone's idea of an ideal day trip but I find it very interesting.
