Having just returned from our holiday in sunny Tenerife, it's a shock to the system as we arrive back to the UK canals. It's good to be back on our narrowboat home even if it's cold and foggy. I jump on a train to the hospital, convinced I have problems with my eye after recent surgery and that turns out to be an adventure in itself. Meanwhile Anthony moves the boat to Blakemere, as our two weeks are up at Ellesmere.
We get to see our new puppy for the very first time and then it's time to escape from under the trees as the predicted storm heads our way.
