Introduction*

In this tutorial*, we will build a voltage booster that takes an input voltage of 3.7V and outputs a higher voltage of 22V.

*Components*

- Inductor
- 100-ohm resistor
- BC547 transistor
- Diode
- Capacitor

*Step-by-Step Instructions*

1. Connect the inductor to the resistor.
2. Connect the resistor to the base of the transistor.
3. Connect the second terminal of the inductor to the emitter of the transistor.
4. Connect a diode from the emitter to the positive side of the capacitor.
5. Connect the negative side of the capacitor to the negative supply of the transistor (connected to the emitter).

*Powering the Voltage Booster*

1. Apply the input voltage to the zero-loop of the inductor.
2. Apply the input voltage to the emitter of the transistor.
3. Take the output voltage from the capacitor.
