A toast with my grandchildren! Rough grading of beet field
On April 16, 2024, rough grading was done in a beet field with a parasoiler and a disk harrow.
The previous day, a half-soiler was used to roughly level the field where the nails had been inserted. Although it would have been fine to finish the field with the rotary harrow as it was, we did the rough grading to improve the accuracy of the grading and to avoid the possibility of the field meandering as it was being steered. The Remken Quartz 7s on the front did a good job as always. Now we plan to do the finishing grading while watching the weather.
