Join Flower farmer and florist Georgie Newbery as she is given a tour of Colourwheel Garden, a first-season, micro flower farm in sunny Cheshire. This is a great clip for people considering starting their own flower farm, however modest.
Gemma has taken a patch on the edge of flourishing plant nursery @Bluebells-s in Cheshire, and while growing a specific number of bouquets a week has spent a season learning what she loves, what grows well for her, how to grow a good mix for useful cutting through the season, and how she might plan a permanent flower farm in future.
This spot is a stepping stone, but Gemma is making a collection of plants which she can move with when she finds a home and a place to make a more more permanent flower farm. To start small, with a clear, achievable objective, is the example given in this clip.
Georgie offers specific workshops on Career Change Flower Farming, both at the farm in Somerset and online (which means she has been joined by flower farmer or people considering flower farming as a career from around the world!) You can find the workshops here:

Or join Georgie at the farm in Somerset: https://www.commonfarmflowers.com/products/career-change-flower-farming
We always record the online workshops and send the recordings to you afterwards, in case you can't join live, or the children / dog / neighbour interrupts you, or the internet stops working.
There are many other business focused workshops available, as well as different workshops and demos for people wanting to learn more about growing and arranging flowers for themselves. Have a look at the website and book yourself the sessions which appeal to you. You can see our workshop calendar here https://www.commonfarmflowers.com/pages/workshop-calendar
If you're booking a place on our workshops the website will ask you to choose a delivery date - any date will do! And if you can't join our sessions live then you are still very welcome to book as we send the recording and notes of the workshop out to everyone afterwards, so you can download the session and refer back to it as and when you need to.
