The Tehachapi Depot Museum is locate in an exact replica of the structure that served the Southern Pacific, Santa Fe and Union Pacific railroads from 1904 until 2004. The City of Tehachapi built UP a new office so they could have the Depot. As it neared completion in 2008, a fire started by illegal fireworks destroyed it. This is the building it was replaced with.
It is a wonderful place in a very cool town. You really need to come visit. We're already planning some cool additions!
