In February 2020 (shortly before the world locked down), my wife and I went on a trip to Israel and Jordan. We flew over with our church (and one other) as a group. One of the places we got to visit is known as Nimrod's Fortress. It sits about 2600 feet above sea level, and overlooks the Golan Heights. The castle was first built somewhere in the 4th to 7th centuries.
We only got about an hour or so to tour this place, but I easily could have spent DAYS crawling through the tunnels and exploring every stairway, had the opportunity been given to us. You guys know I love history, and this place is loaded with it!
