Parc Slip Nature Reserve was once an open-cast coal mine but has now been transformed into a nature reserve. I take a relatively short and flat walk around the reserve.

The walk is only 2 miles and is not difficult to follow. You should see some of the wildlife and last year we saw some Adders (Britain’s only venomous snake).
