As the dignified Dean of a New England girl s college, Rosalind Russell has some pretty undignified things happen to her in this uproarious screwball comedy. Ray Milland is a visiting British professor of astronomy who attracts the attention of the local press, which is in need of any kind of scandalous story it can get its hands on. Lo and behold, Milland and Russell read about their torrid affair in the newspaper, which turns out to be a prelude to the real thing.
