मध्य प्रदेश के पीथमपुर औद्योगिक क्षेत्र के एक ‘वेस्ट डिस्पोजल प्लांट’ में भोपाल के यूनियन कार्बाइड कारखाने के 337 टन कचरे में से 10 टन अपशिष्ट को परीक्षण के तौर पर जलाकर भस्म किए जाने के पहले दौर की प्रक्रिया शुरू हो गई है। अधिकारियों ने इस बारे में जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि गुरुवार को शुरू हुई इस प्रक्रिया के लिए कड़े सुरक्षा इंतजाम किए गए हैं।
