Abandoned Japanese caves. Haunted place
I visited the Osawa Cave in Niigata Prefecture, Japan.
The Osawa Cave was formed in the Neogene Period (24-1.8 million years ago) after a layer of soft sandstone formed by sand accumulation rose up and became land.
Many of the caves in Japan are formed in hard rock called limestone that is hundreds of millions of years old, but caves formed in new strata like this are rare nationwide.
However, this precious cave is known as a haunted spot and has been vandalized.
The inside of the cave is covered with graffiti.
This is not a recent graffiti, the oldest one was drawn in 1925.
There is less graffiti compared to the past, but people still graffiti here and there.
Even after 100 years, human intelligence has not changed since 100 years ago.
