In this video I tell you a little bit about my mom and her story. I start with some gentle movements around/of a little vase with a few sprigs of forget-me-nots. Then I show a picture of my mom on the cover of a local magazine, with some gentle touching and tracing. I turn the pages to her interview and translate the main points while adding some more detail of my own. I end by showing two dolls in traditional Surinamese garb. I use a little feather brush to "dust" them while I share a few final points.
