From Eibsee, Germany, we hop a cable car for a jaw-dropping ride up to Zugspitze mountain. Its platform views are spectacular, and boasts the world’s longest cableway span. Zugspitze is the highest peak in Germany, with both German and Austrian cable cars reaching the top. Panoramic views from the connected Austrian platform are also amazing. Then after savoring both German and Austrian platform views, we return via a cog-wheel train ride down to Eibsee. Video capture from trip in 2019.
