The sensor detects the change in pressure ( vacuum ) in the inlet pipe according to the load change and the engine crankshaft speed and converts them into the output voltage . Depending on the sensor signal computer calculates the number of air aspirated into the engine. Therefore, the correct operation of the sensor is extremely important .
