Capturing a house finch in oils. I used MH oil paints for this piece with a little bit of walnut oil medium and only a very tiny amount of liquin to aid in the drying of the painting. I painted this on an 8x10 hardbord panel with gesso.
Colors used: T. White, Cad Yellow, Cad Yellow Deep, Cad Orange, Cad Red, Magenta, Cobalt Blue, Phthalo Blue
