Hello and welcome back to Acorn Knits! After getting my mitts on the Lykke ball winder and swift, I wanted to share my experience using a ball winder for the first time EVER! *spoiler alert* It's amazing! As I've never used one before, I wanted to try out three different yarns to see if there was any difference between how the ball winder handled them. I went for a yarn that was really toothy, something in the middle and then a super silky yarn. There was one little snafffooo (but which yarn was is??? You'll have to watch to find out!) Thanks for tuning in again 💕🐿️ Natalia xx | Timestamps for all topics mentioned below | 0:52 // Testing different yarns on the same ball winder 2:20 // 100% Wool Fingering Weight Yarn - Naturally dyed with avocado 6:30 // 100% Wool Aran Weight Rustic Yarn - Snældan 3 ply in Light Greyhttps://snaldan.fo/collections/yarn/products/colour-3-grey-1 7:20 // Vomatron at Luna Park - So the ride is actually called the Rotor (it used to be called the Vomatron but I guess that's not as advertising friendly) https://www.lunaparksydney.com/rotor Also look how creepy the mascot and entryway is for Luna Park in Melbourne- terrifying.
