Initially released as part of charity compilation album “No One’s Gonna Change Our World”, “Across The Universe”later went on to appear on Let It Be, in which it was commonly regarded as one of the stand out tracks of the album. The song has since went on to receive various cover versions recorded by many major artists, including David Bowie, 10cc, Fiona Apple and The Scorpions. On the 40thanniversary of “Across The Universe”, the song was transmitted into Deep Space by NASA, with fans across the world being encouraged to play the song while the transmission occurred,making the song potentially one of the most heard songs of all time.
