Adv Sikhakhane cross examines the complainant accusing Judge Mbenenge of sexual misconduct

The Judicial Conduct Tribunal probing sexual harassment allegations against Eastern Cape Judge President Selby Mbenenge will continue to hear evidence from the complainant Judges' Secretary, Andiswa Mengo. Mengo has accused Mbenenge of sexual harassment in the form of in-person interaction and electronic interaction between June 2021 to November 2022. Yesterday, Mengo testified that prior to lodging a formal complaint, she proposed a roundtable with other Judges to address the Judge President and stop the alleged advances and seek the Judges' intervention.
